In order to develop the bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Israel, Y Isreal magazine is going to be launched. Through this magazine, it is hoped to explore and develop closer ties between the two countries by compiling articles on the fields of education, agriculture, health, economics, science research technology, innovation, politics and Sanskrit.

Israel Sri Lanka Solidarity Movement proudly celebrated the 75th Israel National Independence Day at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre. The event was celebrated with the participation of Buddhist, Hindu, Christian and Catholic religious leaders and a large public. The specialty of this is the participation of the tribal community including tribal leaders. It was the first time that the Israel National Day was celebrated in Sri Lanka in an open ground with such a large crowd.
